Pricing Your Packages: A Practical Guide
By AIPPSOA Editorial · 1 month ago · 1 min read
Most established studios settle on three tiers, not five: enough to let a buyer feel like they're choosing, not overwhelmed. A lean entry tier, a full-coverage middle tier that most buyers actually pick, and a premium tier that mostly exists to make the middle one look reasonable.
Price around what's genuinely different between tiers (hours of coverage, number of photographers, delivery timeline) rather than vague language like "premium experience" that doesn't tell a buyer anything concrete.
Revisit pricing at least once a year. Studios that haven't touched their rates in three years are usually undercharging relative to their own growing demand, not staying competitive.
