The Rise of Drone Videography in Sri Lanka

Five years ago, drone footage was a novelty add-on quoted separately. Today, it's closer to an expectation for any outdoor event with a view worth showing: beachfront weddings, hillside venues, large corporate functions.
Part of the shift is cost: drones capable of cinematic footage have gotten dramatically cheaper, and licensing has become more standardized. Part of it is simply what audiences now expect from a highlight reel; an aerial establishing shot has become as familiar a convention as the first-look shot.
Studios investing in this early are finding it's less about the hardware and more about training someone to fly it well under pressure, on a schedule they don't control.
