What to Ask Before Booking a Wedding Photographer
By AIPPSOA Editorial · 2 weeks ago · 1 min read
Before anything else, ask to see one full wedding gallery, start to finish, not a highlights reel. Highlight reels show a photographer's best 30 photos; a full gallery shows whether the other 300 hold up too.
Ask who's actually showing up on the day. Some studios book a name photographer for the consultation and send a junior team on the day itself: reasonable, as long as you know in advance, not after.
Get delivery timelines and backup plans in writing: how many edited photos, how many weeks, and what happens if a camera fails mid-ceremony. A studio with a clear answer to that last question has done this before.
